We will either sell the properties to high-net-worth clients such as professional football players or retain the properties for their high-income potential.

Meet the Team

Our management team have an enviable track record in property development, property sales, finance and raising funds from across the globe. Our business thrives on our established and new relationships.

David has over 25 years’ experience in the property sector, both developing and as a landlord. David started with one property and developed both significant personal and corporate portfolios with developments in excess of £500 million of both residential and commercial property. At the height of ownership, David was one of the largest private landlords in the country. Following retirement from the property sector, David partnered with SNR Dentons and subsequently the Gunvor Group as a commodity advisor in the precious metals industry.

Jake has over 10 years experience in the property sector, consisting of portfolio management, deal structuring & private finance. Jake has more recently been involved in the mining sector, working with central banks and global commodity houses to establish and arrange finance for mining projects and commodity supply chains. Jake also has significant experience in the grading of rough diamonds, setup of diamond purchasing offices, and currently acts in an advisory capacity for an american listed mining company. On a personal level, Jake is a fully qualified Pilot holding an EASA license, as well as a martial arts instructor.

Managing Director

Following his completion of further education in the UK, Curtis followed in the family footsteps of operating in the real estate & mining sectors. Over recent years, Curtis has gained significant experience in property acquisition and capital raising, alluvial gold mine setup, and general supply chain management for mining and trading of gold. Curtis is also the company’s in-house compliance officer, and performs duties in relation to the company’s governance, regulatory and legal obligations. On a personal basis, Curtis is a keen martial artist practicing Muay Thai & Brazilian Jiu Jitsu.

Investment Director

Joined the Civil Service in 1975 following a short career in retail management. An experienced tax professional who, having trained as a criminal and civil investigator, subsequently held a wide range of senior posts throughout his Civil Service career including managing operational delivery, strategy development and project/programme management. He has wide experience in a variety of roles tackling the largest and more complex fraud and avoidance risks by corporates, High Net Worth


Andy Cole CBE

Non Executive Director

Phil has 48 years’ experience as an accountant, being a Fellow of the Institute of Financial Accountants, a Fellow of the Certified Public Accountants and a member of the Faculty of Taxation and Advisors and has an accountancy practice in Southport. Phil has had a long standing relationship with the directors and personally has experience of being a landlord and developing property on a national basis.

Simon is a strategic numbers man; with corporate, strategic and property investment experience, he brings a wealth of international experience to the team. He has a knowledge of commercial and regulatory issues, in addition to sound financial knowledge. He has been an advisor to several companies and has successfully implemented and achieved long and short term financial objectives. He is adept at analysing market conditions and developing new business opportunities, coordinating teams of professionals, including accountants, lawyers and international local market experts.

Dr. Simon Donoghue BSC (Hons) & PhD

Head of Business Development

Natalie is working as Chief Operating Officer for the group.  She brings much experience, creating, managing, and implementing General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) across the group, internal policy creation and implementation, Risk management and systems and controls auditing. She said: “The 79th Group has a proven track record for successfully managing investors returns.  It is committed to compliance and meeting and often exceeding the statutory regulations in place.

Natalie Bellis

Chief Operating Officer

With over thirteen years in the IT industry, Chris has led a steady career of growth in various sectors such as the NHS, Private Industry, Insurance and the Wealth & Investment space. He recently occupied the IT Service Delivery Manager’s post, overseeing the European IT Service operations for one of the world’s biggest Military Safety providers. As Head of IT for the 79th Group, Chris intends to reinvigorate the Information & Cyber Security, implement solid Service Delivery and reliably maintain the day to day IT operations for the group, helping to secure a strong performance on an exciting road ahead. Chris enjoys going to the local gym and spending time with family and friends in his spare time.

Introducing Ashley as the 79th Group’s Executive Assistant, she brings six years of experience in a similar role, and her organisational skills will be invaluable to the team. Joining one family business from another, Ashley has clicked into our hard-working family mentality seamlessly, and we look forward to watching her develop into this vital role. Outside of work, Ashley enjoys spending time with her family and always has the next adventure planned for her young daughter.

Experienced in the commercial finance sector and the civil service department, Alex joins the team as an Investment Officer. Well versed in Anti Money Laundering checks, Alex has already begun streamlining the process while ensuring the checking procedure is more robust than ever. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with friends and family in the great outdoors and is partial to a good game of Monopoly.

During the completion of his Degree in Software Engineering, Elliot also gained experience working at one of the industry-leading credit brokers, supporting their identity and fraud prevention services. The transition from a large corporate environment to the 79th Group has been a refreshing experience. He is looking forward to facing new challenges and growing his wealth of knowledge as the business grows.

Over the past 8 years our Social Media Executive, Phil, has been involved with content creation and account growth across multiple social media platforms, notably Instagram, Twitter and TikTok. The largest page that he grew and eventually sold on to a global marketing company had over 3 million followers on Instagram.

Alicia is CIPD qualified and holds over 20 years of HR experience across a variety of sectors, including telecommunications, aerospace,  residential care and manufacturing. Her main areas of responsibility within The 79th Group include staffing, setting policies, managing employee benefits, retention, training and payroll.
